JANUARY 2008 – WINTER
In December we were covered with a layer of snow that broke a 68-year-old record. In one day we achieved a record fall that started me thinking about traveling. Only about 50 days before we hit the trail again.
In the meantime, we continue to work, keep up medical appointments and visit with the grandchildren.
For New Year's Eve four of them roasted wieners out in the backyard. It was a cold evening but the fire made it seem cozy. It will take weeks to get the smoke smell out of the clothes!
Enjoy these winter pictures.

I just love these pictures!! I especially like the one with Gregg with his Santa hat on or maybe it is just an elf hat. No matter, I like it. We are enjoying Isabella until Saturday. She does sleep very well so we took her to give Tamie and Marilla some sleep time. She is sleeping ok for me right now. I woke up and decided to see if the elk and deer visited the feeders yet and then decided to check my email.
Isn't it great to be a grandparent??!! Enjoy the grandkids!!

Pete is staying extra close with all the noise of the storm. Carol and I are relly hoping we don't here that speeding train noise.
