LAST DAYS for this trip!

ROCKS MARINA, Eutawville, South Carolina

The campground sits by the side of Lake Marion. Every trailer is covered with green moss - the results of settling in high humidity.
It is a great place to fish for catfish. The breeze off the lake is refreshing on a hot day. But that breeze only reaches the first two or three rows of trailers.

This is the lake at LOW water level. Cypress trees are scattered in the lake. You really have to be awake if you are boating.
The fishing pier is long. When you don't have a pontoon boat, it is a good place to fish.

The contest winner pulled a 37 pounder from the lake. It is not in this picture. What is hanging here is just a normal day's catch for one fisherman. The last fish was a bass. For me, I'd throw away the catfish and keep the bass.

Well Greg, when you have catfish in Alabama and louisiana I think they are farmed. They are so good. They skin the fat layer of skin off and fry the fillets in a corn meal breading.....excellent.
Carol and I think they are great.
Should try it..Bill
